I like the notion of making a game with adult content because it actually deals with adult concepts and not simply because there is someone in it cursing a lot.
EDIT:
Q1 2010 is going to kill my wallet worse than Q4 2009.
Heavy Rain
White Knight Chronicles
GOW3
FFXIII(if it actually releases then)
At the rate Square is going were never going actually get FFXIII, let alone Versus XIII.
A friend of mine speculates that this game will either not be released or if it is released it will be renamed FFXV.
I think they are too far committed to cancel the title but it does make sense to call it FFXV, instead of FFvXIII.
So they expect PS3 owners to buy the game plus 3, 4, or 5 separate $10 pieces of DLC at the same that the 360 has a version that contains all of those for $50 or $60? For a game that released at the same time on PS3 and 360. I don't think so.
If PS3 owner have proven anything this generation, it is that they will not buy a game if they feel the screws being put to them.

The editor of the source forum said that Bethesda announce for the PS3 at t...
Who said that I didn't like Halo 3, or that it isn't good. I didn't say that.
Halo 3 is good and is probably the best at what it does. Still, a 33%-50% attach rate for one game is awfully high.
I am saying the Microsoft needs to make more first party games so that they can make "the next Halo" for their platform. Otherwise they will end up spamming Halo titles.
For a few years now, I have been saying, "Halo is the Xbox, the Xbox is not Halo."
Over the past year, I have been saying to a friend of mine that I did not like Microsoft's strategy of buying exclusives from 3rd parties instead of using that money to develop their own 1st party games as Sony does. My argument was that the practice retards the development of their platform by not pushing the hardware to the max and by not creating new blockbuster titles that they (Micr...
You dated a guy the pouted when you put in Left 4 Dead. What did he do next, try to steal your panties?
If I ever found a woman who likes Virtua Fighter 5, I'll propose to her.
The money is telling the truth, that's who. If the money says Bungie needs to do the DLC in order to make its payroll, then Bungie will do the DLC. If the money says Bungie doesn't need to do the DLC, then they won't. Screw what these guys say, follow the money.
I mostly agree with Lou-Cipher but disagree with him on one small point. I think the market is smart enough to identify the real usefulness of the machine and will judge the true price based on it.
Specifically I think that the cheapest 360 WITH A HARD DRIVE will be deemed to be the real price. A price cut will not matter unless it lowers the cost of a machine with a hard drive.
The is tactic eliminating the 360 Pro, and cutting the Elite to $299 will not be se...
Price will always be a factor unless all of the options are essentially equal in price.
However, I don't think that a $299 Elite can compete evenly with a $299 PS3. The PS3 has too many extra uses and the 360 has a reputation being a bad quality machine. Therefore, the 360 must cheaper in order to sell the same amount of units.
I do want to point out though, that both Sony and Microsoft want to make profit more than they want to sell more units than their compet...
I Disagree!
How should I put it,???? The setting if Fallout 3 was an awful time to be alive, and made me feel awful, which flies in the face of what I look for in an RPG. Not that the game wasn't well written, it just reeked of wretchedness, and I couldn't get over that.
Said another way,............
If I woke up tomorrow and the real world was Fallout 3, I would think, man I'm screwed.
If I woke up tomorrow and the real world was Oblivi...
Soooooo......Elder Scrolls IV wasn't good enough to make his list, huh. Yet both Mass Effect and Fallout 3 were.
"On topic: I really think they should keep the pro and discontinue the Arcade model and make sure that every system has a HD having a system with no HD is a huge problem in the gaming industry and several developers have made this claim R* being one of them."
It is too late now. Thee system without the HDD has been on the market since the release. I suspect that about 10% of the Xboxes on the market have no HDD.
But I do agree that the lack of a standard ...
But does this mean that they now make the current PS3 for 70% less; or does it mean that the PS3 Slim will cost them 70% to make?
In no way did this game have a choppy frame-rate. This game had only three small flaws.
1. It had 2 or 3 load times in odd places, as though Ninja Theory had not mastered the art of seemlessly switching to and out of in game engine cut-scenes.
2. It was too easy or the first play-through.
3. It was too short.
We don't even need to talk about graphics, there is no way any reasonable person think Gears looks better than Uncharted. Uncharted even has a better 3-person shooter mechanic. Drake can run and shoot at the same time; he can hang from ledges and shoot; and he has better melee options when he gets close.
Oh Yeah,
PLAYABLE AYANE FOR THE CRUSHING VICTORY!
Not only day one, but
Pre-order, day one, midnight release purchase.
Yes, I too, am screwed.
I will definitely buy the following three games with no chance of sacrificing either one.
1. Uncharted 2
2. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
3. Demon's Souls
I am also considering MAG, but I honestly may run out of money. I had already decided to buy Heavy Rain this year regardless of money, but they pushed it back. I have already decided to buy it next year.
That makes 3 or 4 games that I have decided to buy,....and ...
I'm there for the co-op.
Playable Ayane for the CRUSHING VICTORY.
Are you saying God of War sucks compared to 360 games? I disagree passionately. You think it sucks when compared to what 360 games exactly?
